Tim Pool invited American musician Alex Pink to his show, but things got completely out of hand after the host could not stand the guest’s statement. It has been reported that the podcast got canceled.
Pool and guests talk about current events, culture, and politics on Timcast IRL. Lydia serves as the live producer, while Ian Crossland serves as the co-host.
What Did Ariel Pink Say In Timcast IRL?
Most of us are curious to know what actually happened after the podcast between Ariel Pink and Tim Pool that halted aggressively in between. It was a normal Timcast show like any other day, and the two were having a conversation, putting out their thoughts as raw as possible. However, things turned sour after an unexpected, bizarre statement by Pink.
Twitter is flooded with a clip where Tim expressed how he completely disagrees with the cancel culture. He further continues that one cannot be stopped from doing what they like. “How can anyone force people to go underground and expect them to go crazy” On the other hand, Alex completely disagrees and says the most abrupt thing ever; “kill them” This conversation, however, continues, and Tim says, even prisoners should not be caged; they should have access to the outside world. To this, Alex replies that people fought for their right to vote.
This is when the podcaster realized where the musician messed up. He just got up and stopped it in the middle of everything. This now got a little serious. You obviously should not be putting out your hyperbolic statement on a public platform, but Tim’s reaction was shocking.
After this, Twitter has many reactions. People believe that he needed to be a little open-minded, and people have come up to the show and have said worse things than possible. People are giving him the benefit of the doubt as well; he might have been facetious. Another section of people is still not able to settle with what Alex could say; promoting killing people is extremely unusual.
Tim Pool Shut Down & Sourpatchlyds Lydia’s Latest Statement
the producer of the show Timcast, Sourpatchlyds, tried to cover up the entire fuss going on through a statement on her Twitter account. She said that they were recording an explainer bonus segment at the moment. To this, people are asking what happened.
One of the netizens says, “Cant sarcastically say things like that anymore. They can claim you are serious or promoting it.” Similarly, another one says, “I saw a short clip of what he said… Oh boy, was he not careful with his words?”
However, a person related to the podcast production team made a conflicting statement. The Redheaded Librarian says, “Everyone is okay over at Timcast. It was an Internal issue.” People are smart enough to figure out the conceal. She gets a reply, “It was shut down most likely because of something Ariel Pink said about advocating for killing people.”
