She lives through her children, Jamie Pourciau (Melissa), Wendy Woodworth(Richard), Kasie Pourciau, and nine grandchildren, Tyler Saizon, Rich Woodworth, Aliyah Woodworth, BJ Russell, Brantley Russell, Amelia Russell, Jaelyn Pourciau, Marianna Pourciau, and JR Pourciau.

However, Mary’s family questioned the cause of her death, and The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s office took the case to a grand jury on 12 January 2022. Many of her family members labeled her death a homicide on Woody Overton’s podcast, Real-Life Real Crime.

They even offered a $10 thousand reward for any information leading to an arrest.

On 20 January 2022, police arrested him on second-degree murder charges and obstruction of justice. After that, the deputies put him into the West Baton Rouge Detention Center with no bond at the moment.
